About

Slow Slip is a photoblog featuring West Coast Canadian landscapes.

The kit consists of a Nikon D300, Nikon D80, Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR , Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D Micro, Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5, a Sigma 10-20mm F/4-5.6, a Manfrotto 728B tripod, and a small stuffed monkey.

I’m always considering an upgrade of some piece of equipment or other. But I know, really, that it’s the photography skills which need upgrading. So I try to compensate by severely overprocessing. Hopefully, I will learn eventually…

Comments are very appreciated. Encouragement is great! But so is criticism. I don’t take negative comments personally. I know my photos have flaws. But it’s hard to know which flaws are tolerable and which aren’t. Feedback’s nice, in that regard.

Find me on Facebook. However, I’m not particularly active there at the moment. Also the profile visibility seems buggy. Sometimes it just can’t be seen. I guess I’m stealthy.

Should anyone need to email me, for some reason, my contact link is in the footer, above the buttons.

My photobooks from SoFoBoMo projects can also be viewed at my Photobooks Page.

I had a look through your shots and I am very intrigued by your use of post processing technique. Very good!
