The last of this group I’ll post, I think. The waves are from the wake of the Coho Ferry (on the right) as it arrived in the harbour. Prior to that, the water was like glass. It was only the very sudden appearance of the ripple that told me the ship was coming in. Unless the horn blows (and you’ll jump out of your socks if you’re close by), this ship is basically silent.

I have finally completed my SoFoBoMo (Solo Photo Book Month) 2010 project. Of course, this year, I procrastinated terribly, and essentially completed the whole thing in 5 days (except for one image). So it was really more like SoFoBoWe. It was painful to process so many images in such a short time, mostly because (as I didn’t shoot as many as I needed to), I had to be more creative with the ones I had.

The result is the book, To Live Without Envy. I’m not sure what I think of it at this point. I’m mainly glad it’s over.

Diffuse light is so overrated. Why stay in the shade in summer? Direct sunlight at noon? It’s a much better way to get a tan, anyway.
